Land at Yangon International Airport at FLIGHT EK 388 AT 16:45 PM, after immigration and luggage collection meet with your guide in front of arrival hall and be transferred to the hotel for check-in and dinner on your own account .

DAY 2:  YANGON (B/L/-)

In the morning, experience 30 minutes on Yangon’s circular train using daily by local people. After cross Yangon River and experience the real Myanmar way of life in Dalah. Upon arrival on the other side, Trishaw drivers will take you to the Local Orphanage to interact with childrens and their teachers. Visit one of the Yangon region’s best kept secrets, the Baungdawgyoke Pagoda (Dalah’s snake temple). Return back by ferry to Yangon for lunch. Travel back in time and enjoy amazing Yangon’s Colonial Architecture explore impressive City Hall, Superior High Court, Independence Monument, General Post Office, House of Customs and the Strand Hotel. Also, included visit of Secretariat Office, which has been sealed for many years and just recently unlocked for public access. Finish the day by walking tour and watching sunset over the magnificent golden dome of Shwedagon Pagoda.


Transfer to the domestic airport for your domestic flight to Heho. On your way to Inle Lake, stop at a local bamboo umbrella factory where you will have a chance to make your own umbrella and take it away as a souvenir. Upon arrival to Nyaung Shwe, get a board of local boat and start exploration of Inle Lake known for one-leg rowing fishermen, beautiful floating gardens and villages and always smiling Intha people. Lunch stop at the floating village and enjoy Homecooked Lunch with local family. During the trip, we will get off shore and visit the main sanctuary of the lake, the Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda and Nga Hpe Kyaung, one of the oldest monastery in the lake, renowned for its rich history and architectural structure.


Visit the famous 5-day rotating Nampan market – one of the most popular attractions. Boat trip to Indein the home of the Pa-oh tribe. Along the way, you will be greeted by many ancient pagodas in many shapes and sizes and in various states of preservation. Upon arrival, explore the area on foot and visit a local school, Nyaung Ohak, and discover the impressive ruins of hundreds of ancient pagodas. From Nyaung Ohak, go to Shwe Inn Thein with second group of pagodas. After lunch, visit Inpawkhon – the famous weaving centre of the Intha people; lotus silk weaving workshop; cheroot factory and silversmith workshop at the end.


Transfer to Heho airport for your domestic flight to Mandalay. Upon arrival, direct transfer to visit Golden Palace Monastery – a superb example of a traditional wooden building & Kuthodaw Pagoda which is also called “the world’s largest book”, named after the 729 marble slabs inscribed with Buddhist teachings. After lunch, experience the most revered religious monument in Myanmar – Mahamuni Pagoda & Mahamuni Buddha Image; and after continue to Amarapura – famous for traditional hand crafts and workshops including woven silk; Kalaga tapestries and Gold leaf work shop. Enjoy sunset at the oldest teak wood bridge in the world the U Bein.


After breakfast, depart to explore Ava (Mouth of the lake) popular for Me Nu Ok Kyaung (Me Nu’s Brick Monastery) and an authentic teakwood masterpiece the Bagaya Monastery, surely the ancient architecture of the building will amaze you. Next, visit to the “leaning tower” Nanmyint, one of the only structures remaining from King Bagyidaw’s palace. After lunch, transfer to Mandalay jetty for relaxing 1 hour cruise to Mingun. Upon arrival, visit Pahtodawgyi Pagoda– well known for being the world’s largest unfinished pagoda; Hsinbyume Pagoda and the heaviest functioning non-cracked bell in the world the Mingun Bell. After the tour return back to Mandalay and enjoy the panoramic view over the city from Mandalay Hill.


Transfer to Mandalay Airport for your domestic flight to Bagan. Upon arrival to Bagan, direct transfer to visit Shwezigon Pagoda an important pilgrimage site for Buddhists; Wetkyi-in Gubyaukgyi, noteworthy for its mural paintings & Manuha Temple. After lunch, continue to Ananda Temple; Htilominlo Temple; Thatbyinnyu Temple one of the highest monuments of Bagan; Gawdawpalin Temple, Dhammayangyi Pahto Temple & Sulamani Temple. Relax on a 30-minute Horse carriage throughout the ruins of Bagan. At the end of the day, enjoy marvelous sunset view from one of the elevated temples.

DAY 8: BAGAN (B/L/-)

Visit of the lively & colorful local market, Nyaung U Market followed by lacquerware workshop of the Myinkaba village. After lunch, be welcomed in Min Nan Thu Village, a traditional craft village in Bagan. Meet the friendly villagers and get a glimpse of their daily routine. Be greeted by women who enlist traditional rolled cigars (also known as cheroot) in an outdoor living room. Around 4 PM, set out on a boat cruise and enjoy the vivid sunset view over Irrawaddy River During the cruise, have a delicious cocktail as you enjoy the panoramic view of the setting sun. Apart from the river and the sunset, while on the boat you will also discover the riverside temples and villages, including the local peoples’ long-legged wooden houses roofed with palm leaves.


Transfer to Bagan Airport for your domestic flight to Yangon. Upon arrival, direct transfer to visit the famed reclining Buddha (Chauk Htat Gyi) which measures up to 66 meters long, making it one of the largest Buddha in Myanmar.  Stroll in one of the lush green lake parks in Yangon, the Kandawgyi Park which gives you an amazing view of the replica of the royal barge, the Karaweik Palace, which is renowned for its grand figure of legendary bird couple. After lunch, visit one of the most major bazaars in Yangon the, Bogyoke Aung San Market– known for its colonial architecture and inner cobblestone streets, variety of handicrafts, gems and jewel shops, art galleries, clothing and garment stores, traditional medicine, local delicacies and even foreign goods. After dinner (own account), transfer directly to Yangon International Airport for your departure by FLIGHT EK389 at 2:10 AM (DAY 10).

Low Season (May–Sep)

The southwest monsoon starts mid-May and peaks from July to September. The dry zone between Mandalay and Pyay gets the least rain. Rain can make roads impassable anywhere (especially in the delta region).

Shoulder Season (Oct–Nov, Mar–Apr)

March to May Yangon often reaches 104ºF (40ºC). Areas around Bagan and Mandalay are hotter. Cooler in the hill towns of Shan State. All forms of transport booked solid during Thingyan in April.

High Season (Dec–Feb)

Rains least (if at all, in some places) and is not so hot. Book accommodation and transport well ahead for this busy travel season.

Do’s and Don’ts:

  1. Ask before taking a photo; the Burmese can be very shy.
  2. Locals love a good smile, so make sure you return it as often as you can.
  3. Don’t point at things (ie. in a market place) with your foot. This is considered very disrespectful.
  4. Cover your head, shoulders and knees. when visiting religious sites. Visitors must also remove shoes and socks before entering temples.
  5. The people of Myanmar really appreciate it when tourists take part in their local traditions.
